March on top of the step L, R, L, R. RA 1-4
March on the floor L, R, L, R. RA 5-8
PHONETIC CUE ‘March on top 4, 3, 2, 1, walk on the
floor, 4, 3, 2, 1, walk on the floor’
Use a visual cue to show leading leg, and to
HOLD on top
Whole foot on the step
BASIC STEP & BOUNCE COMBO
Basic Step L. RA 1-4
Bounce L&R x2. RA 5-8
PHONETIC CUE ‘Walk up, walk down, bounce, walk
up, walk down, bounce’
Natural right-left-right-left walking rhythm
Feet narrow with the Basic Step, feet a little wider
when you bounce
TRIPLE LUNGE SEQUENCE
Step L to the middle of the step. HOH 1-2
Lunge down. HOH 3-4
Lunge up then down x2. HOH 5-12
Lunge up. HOH 13-14
Step L to floor, hip-width apart. HOH 15-16
Repeat to the other side 17-32

Long step onto the step
